Mathematics Faculty

Dr. Rahim Taghikhani holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Arizona State University, where his research focused on the mathematical modeling of disease dynamics. He also earned a master’s degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics from the University of Manitoba and a bachelor’s degree in Pure Mathematics from Zanjan University. Dr. Taghikhani has extensive teaching experience at the university level, having taught a wide range of mathematics and statistics courses at both Arizona State University and the University of Manitoba. Passionate about inspiring students through analytical thinking and real-world applications, Dr. Taghikhani brings both depth and enthusiasm to the classroom. He is also a published researcher and an active member of the American Mathematical Society.
